How accurate is blood test for heart attack?

My father recently had some chest pain and the doctor did a blood test along with an ECG. I was wondering, how accurate is a blood test in detecting if someone is having a heart attack or had one recently?

Blood tests like Troponin are very accurate for detecting heart muscle damage. While waiting, keep the patient calm and comfortable. Never rely on home remedies like garlic or ginger if someone is having chest discomfort; always take them to the hospital immediately.

I once ignored minor chest pressure thinking it was just acidity, and it turned out to be a mild heart attack. The Troponin blood test in the emergency room saved my life by catching it. If you have any chest pain, breathing difficulty, or numbness, please go to the hospital immediately.

The cardiac enzyme blood tests are highly accurate, but you must get them done in an emergency room immediately if there are any symptoms. Please do not wait to see if the pain goes away. Any chest discomfort must be checked by a doctor right away.

Yes, cardiac Troponin blood tests are extremely accurate and are the standard protocol in every hospital to confirm a heart attack. If you or anyone around is experiencing chest tightness, sweating, or pain radiating to the arm, go to the nearest ER without any delay.

I know how terrifying it feels when you experience chest tightness and suspect a heart issue; the anxiety is overwhelming. A blood test for cardiac markers is highly accurate and will give you clear answers. Please visit a hospital to get checked so you can find peace of mind.

The blood test is very accurate, but it requires a proper hospital lab. In case of any chest pain or breathlessness, please don't wait for private labs to collect samples at home. Go directly to a good hospital's casualty ward where they can do an ECG and blood test instantly.
