How accurate is apple watch sleep?

I just got a new Apple Watch and have started using its sleep tracking feature. It gives me all sorts of data about my sleep cycles every night. How reliable are these readings actually for understanding my sleep patterns?

I used to panic looking at my Apple Watch showing very low deep sleep every night. But my doctor assured me it's just an estimate based on movement and heart rate. It is good for tracking trends, but don't stress over the exact minutes.

Ye ghadi thik-thak bata deti hai ki aap kab soye aur kab jage. Par isko lekar jyada chinta mat kijiye. Sone se pehle thoda garam doodh pijiye aur mobile door rakhiye, achhi neend apne aap aayegi.

According to sleep study comparisons, the Apple Watch is actually one of the most accurate consumer wearables for tracking sleep stages. It uses advanced accelerometers and heart rate sensors. Just make sure you wear it snugly on your wrist for the best data tracking.

An Apple Watch is not a medical-grade polysomnography device. Don't trust smart watch data or online self-diagnosis if you are facing chronic insomnia or fatigue. You must consult a sleep specialist or a doctor for actual diagnosis.

I have been using the Apple Watch for a year now to track my sleep cycle. Personally, I find it matches closely with how tired or refreshed I feel the next morning, but I only use it as a general daily guide.
