Have thyroid?

Lately, I've been feeling extremely fatigued, gaining weight even though my diet hasn't changed, and experiencing hair loss. My sister has hypothyroidism, so I'm concerned. Could these symptoms mean I have thyroid problems too?

Yes, thyroid issues are very common but easily manageable with daily medication. Get a TSH blood test done first.

Thyroid issues require precise medical management based on lab results, as self-treating or ignoring it can affect your metabolism and heart rate. Consulting an endocrinologist is definitely the best approach here.

Please see an endocrinologist soon. My wife neglected her fluctuating TSH levels, which eventually caused severe hair loss and joint pain before we got the dosage corrected by a specialist.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! So many of my friends have thyroid issues and they live totally active, normal lives. Just take your morning pill on time and you'll be absolutely fine.

Don't pay high prices at premium hospitals just for a thyroid test. You can easily book a T3, T4, TSH package online from diagnostic apps for under 300-400 rupees. Plan it on a Sunday morning.

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism two years ago when I suddenly started gaining weight. Taking my pill regularly and doing basic exercises has helped me get my energy back completely, so don't worry!
