Have heart attacks increased since covid?

My brother's friend, who is quite young, recently had a heart attack, which was very shocking. I've been hearing more such stories lately. Is it true that heart attacks have increased since COVID-19, or is it just my perception?

There definitely seems to be a connection, as we hear about so many young people collapsing nowadays. Getting a basic lipid profile and ECG done annually has become highly essential.

Honestly, hearing all this news makes me so scared to eat my favorite street food! But it is a wake-up call to balance our love for buttery pav bhaji with daily walks and heart-healthy home meals.

The statistics definitely show a post-COVID rise in vascular issues, but we also can't ignore high stress and terrible city lifestyles. Don't panic, just book an annual master health checkup at a reputed lab to know where you stand.

Bro, it is actually so scary seeing fitness influencers on Instagram getting heart attacks. It makes me realize that just looking built on the outside doesn't mean everything is fine inside. Definitely gotta take cardio seriously.
