Have a fever but feel fine?

Since yesterday, my thermometer shows I have a slight fever, around 99.8-100 F. But honestly, I'm feeling totally normal, no body ache or anything unusual. Is it possible to have a fever reading and actually feel completely fine without any other symptoms?

Honestly, wait for a day or two before running to a lab for expensive blood tests. Just keep track of the temperature at home using a basic thermometer. If it doesn't settle in 48 hours, then plan a doctor visit so you don't waste money on unnecessary packages.

When this happens to me, I treat it as an excuse to eat hot tomato soup and garlic bread. Sometimes your body is just fighting something small, but definitely don't push your luck with heavy oily street food right now. Keep it light, eat home food, and see how you feel tomorrow.

In my sixty years, I have seen this happen many times where the body fights off a virus silently. Rest even if you feel energetic, because sometimes the fatigue hits you suddenly after the fever drops. Drink warm water and don't exert yourself today.

Bro, same thing happened to me last month, had 100 fever but was totally normal and playing games. I ignored it but then suddenly got severe body pain on day three. Better to take it easy now, don't hit the gym, and check with a doc if it rises.

I completely understand, sometimes the body is just slightly warm but you feel absolutely alright. Try drinking some warm kadha with tulsi and black pepper, it helps a lot in clearing out low-grade infections. But please don't skip your meals and get some quiet rest.

Enjoy this superpower while it lasts! Usually, my body starts crying even with a 99-degree temperature, so feeling fine with a fever is a blessing. Just monitor it closely though, we aren't getting any younger and sudden weakness is no joke.
