Has anyone got thyroid cancer from wegovy?

Planning to start Wegovy for my weight loss journey, but a friend recently mentioned some scary risks. Now I'm particularly worried about thyroid cancer. Has anyone in this community experienced or heard of someone getting thyroid cancer from Wegovy?

The thyroid cancer risk is listed because of some findings in animal studies, but human cases are incredibly rare. If you are starting Wegovy, just get a baseline thyroid function test done to be absolutely sure. It takes very little time and keeps you safe.

When my daughter's doctor suggested looking into these newer weight management options, I spent nights worrying about the thyroid warning. The doctor explained that unless there is a family history of Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma, the medicine is quite safe. We just do regular checkups to keep our minds at ease.

I have been managing high blood pressure and weight issues for years, and my doctor told me that controlling obesity is very important for the heart. While thyroid cancer is a theoretical risk listed on Wegovy, the benefits of weight loss often outweigh it. Just ensure you do your routine blood checks and don't skip your doctor visits.

Haan na, internet pe padh ke hum kitna tension le lete hain. Actually, the thyroid warning is mostly a precaution, so don't get too scared. Just ask your doctor to explain it to you nicely, ho na?

I had some severe digestive side effects when I tried these weight loss injections, so I am always very cautious now. If you are worried about thyroid issues or notice any swelling or hoarseness in your throat, please see an endocrinologist immediately. Don't try to self-diagnose online.
