Es contagiosa la psoriasis?

My colleague has patches on his skin, and someone mentioned it might be psoriasis. I sit next to him every day in the office. I wanted to confirm if psoriasis is a contagious condition that can be passed on by touch or sharing things?

I have had psoriasis on my elbows for three years now, and trust me, it is not contagious at all. My friends and family touch my hands daily and no one has ever caught it. It is just an internal immune system issue, so don't worry about spreading it.

No, psoriasis is absolutely not contagious, it is an autoimmune skin condition. However, because it can sometimes be confused with fungal infections, it is highly recommended to see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis before applying any strong creams.

I know how stressful the dry patches can be, but rest assured, it is not contagious. While I found some relief by applying pure coconut oil and keeping my skin moisturized, you must use the medicated creams prescribed by your skin specialist to manage it properly.

I used to panic thinking every skin rash is contagious and would avoid sitting near people. But after reading a lot, I realized psoriasis is completely non-infectious. It is mostly triggered by stress, so keeping your mind relaxed is actually the first step to healing.

Psoriasis is actually not contagious at all, yaar. It is just your body's immune system acting up and producing skin cells too fast. So you can hug, shake hands, and hang out with anyone without any tension.

It is scientifically proven that psoriasis is not contagious. Don't believe random internet posts selling magic oils or herbal pastes to cure it overnight. Only a qualified dermatologist can prescribe the correct steroid or non-steroidal ointments that actually work.

Please be assured that psoriasis is not contagious in any way. You cannot catch it or give it to anyone by touching. It is just an overreaction of the skin cells, so please stay calm.
