My gynaecologist suggested Zofran for my morning sickness, but I'm having a lot of nausea and also vomiting sometimes. I'm wondering if it just helps with the nauseous feeling or if it can actually stop the vomiting too?

My son was throwing up everything last monsoon, and our pediatrician prescribed this. It stopped the vomiting first so we could at least give him ORS, and then his nausea also settled down.

Please be careful and consult a doc before taking it. I took it thinking it's a simple stomach upset, but my dehydration got worse and I had to be put on an IV eventually.
