Does your pulse increase during heart attack?

A friend was telling me about different heart attack symptoms, and she specifically said the pulse rate goes up really high. Is this always true, or can it be different for everyone? I'm trying to educate myself on these emergency signs.

I usually get a racing pulse after eating an extra spicy biryani, but a real heart attack is totally different. The pulse can definitely shoot up as the body panics, or even drop dangerously low. If there is pain or sweating along with it, forget about food and get to a doctor immediately.

I am not very sure about this, but I read that the pulse can sometimes change during cardiac events. Does a high pulse rate always mean something is wrong with the heart, or can it just be stress? I would love to know what doctors suggest for tracking this safely.

My elders always said that sudden sweating and a fluttering chest should never be ignored. Medical doctors confirm that your pulse can increase or become erratic during a heart attack because of the lack of oxygen flow. Please reach out to an emergency room immediately if you observe these symptoms.

Beta, in my seventy years I have seen that a heart attack doesn't always show the same signs. Sometimes the pulse goes very fast, and sometimes it becomes very faint and slow. If you feel any chest heaviness or sudden breathlessness, don't ignore it thinking it is gas, consult a doctor immediately.

Yes, the pulse can definitely shoot up during an attack because the heart is working extra hard under stress. But please don't try to measure it yourself at home if you feel unwell. Just head straight to the nearest hospital right away!

Having thyroid issues makes my heart rate go up and down quite often, but a heart attack pulse change is a critical situation. It can spike dramatically due to the sheer stress on the cardiac muscles. If you have underlying conditions, regular checkups and consulting your cardiologist is absolutely necessary.

When my father had his cardiac event, his pulse shot up drastically and he was sweating. The first thing we did was make him sit down comfortably and called an ambulance immediately. Never waste time trying home remedies or waiting for the pulse to settle down.

Our body has its own ways of showing distress, and a rapid or irregular pulse is often how the heart signals a crisis like an attack. Stay calm, pray, but most importantly, seek medical help without any delay. Taking timely care is the greatest blessing.

Haan babuji, dil ka daura padne par dhadkan bahut tez ho sakti hai ya kabhi kabhi bilkul dheemi bhi ho sakti hai. Aise samay par bilkul deri nahi karni chahiye. Turant bade hospital ke doctor ke paas jana chahiye.

I once rushed to the emergency room because my pulse crossed 130 and I was convinced I was having a heart attack. It turned out to be a severe panic attack, but the doctor told me that during an actual heart attack, the pulse can indeed go up or become highly irregular. It is always better to get checked to be safe.

During an attack, the heart muscle is deprived of oxygen, which can cause the pulse to increase rapidly as it struggles to pump. However, this is a severe medical emergency. Please don't attempt any light exercises or walking to ease the discomfort, just go straight to the hospital.
