Does your heart rate change when having a heart attack?

My father has some heart issues, and I keep a close watch on his health. I know chest pain is a common symptom, but I'm curious about the heart rate. Does the heart rate always change, like becoming faster or slower, during a heart attack?

Haan bilkul, heart rate badh bhi sakta hai aur kabhi kabhi bohot slow bhi ho jata hai, depends on the person na. Agar achanak se dhabrahat ya seene mein heavy feel ho, toh turant doctor ke paas bhago, isme wait nahi karte.

It was the most terrifying day of my life when my father went through this and his pulse became so irregular. The emotional stress of not knowing what is happening is heavy, but please, if you notice any such change with sweating, get to a hospital immediately.

Yes, heart rate fluctuations are common during a cardiac event. If you are experiencing this alongside chest pain or shortness of breath, do not wait or search online. Call an emergency number or go to the nearest hospital right away.

I love my heavy parathas, but my doctor warned me that sudden heart rate changes aren't something to joke about. If you feel your pulse racing or dropping suddenly with severe discomfort, leave the food and rush to the clinic immediately.

In my 60-odd years, I've seen that the heart behaves unpredictably during such events; it can race or slow down drastically. The best thing I've learned is never to delay when these signs show up with sweating—go straight to the casualty ward.

Does anyone else feel like their heart skips a beat when they are highly stressed? I know a heart attack can cause major heart rate changes, but I always worry if my occasional fast pulse is a sign of something worse. I should probably get a checkup done soon.

Yes, heart rate changes drastically during an attack. Don't waste time analyzing it on your smart watch. If you have chest tightness or arm pain, go to the nearest emergency hospital immediately.

Seedhi baat bolu toh, haan, dhadkan bilkul badal sakti hai. Isme dimaag mat lagao ki fast hai ya slow. Agar dhabrahat aur pain hai, toh seedha doctor ke paas jao, bilkul risk nahi lene ka.

I know how scary it is when you constantly check your pulse and worry about heart issues. Yes, the heart rate can change during an attack, but if you also have chest pain or dizziness, please don't just sit with the anxiety—go get it checked by a professional.

I went through this just three months ago and my heart rate spiked crazily before the chest pain hit. If you feel your pulse racing abnormally along with heavy sweating, please go to the ER immediately. Acting fast saved my life.

Having thyroid issues means my heart rate is often all over the place, but a sudden abnormal spike or drop with chest pressure is a serious red flag. You must get regular ECGs done and consult your doctor immediately if this happens.

I once ignored an irregular, fast pulse thinking it was just acidity, and it almost cost me my life. Please do not make the same mistake I did; if your heart rate is changing weirdly and you feel unwell, get to a doctor immediately.
