Does your brain release dmt when you sleep?

An article I read online about sleep and dreams mentioned something about DMT being released in the brain during sleep. Is this true? It sounds quite interesting, like our brains are doing all these complex things when we're just resting.

I read a lot about this because I have very vivid dreams, but there's no solid proof that the human brain actually produces DMT in large amounts during sleep. It's mostly just a popular theory from the internet. Sleep dreams are just normal REM cycle stuff, don't overthink it.

Yaar, at this age, I am just happy if my brain releases enough peace to let me sleep for 6 hours without waking up to pee. These scientific theories about DMT are good for reading, but practically, my biggest dream chemical is just a quiet room and a good pillow.

DMT ka toh pata nahi par mere dimaag se neend zaroor gayab ho chuki hai. If my brain is releasing any chemicals, it is definitely stress and coffee. I would love to experience some of these mystical sleep chemicals if they actually existed!

I was researching this yesterday only because of a podcast I heard. Turns out the pineal gland producing DMT in humans is mostly a theory popularized by Rick Strassman, but actual science hasn't confirmed it in our sleep. Still, it makes dreaming sound so cool, right?

I don't know much about the chemical side of it, but dreaming is just our mind's natural way of sorting out the day. Don't worry too much about these complex theories. Just focus on resting well and keeping your mind peaceful before bed.

In scientific debates me padne se accha hai ki hum apni neend ki quality sudharein. If you want good sleep and good dreams, just stop using your mobile phone an hour before sleeping and try keeping a fixed sleeping time. Simple and works every time.

Actually, studies on rodents showed pineal DMT release, but it has never been clinically proven in human brains during sleep. My doctor friend also mentioned that our vivid dreams are primarily driven by neurotransmitters like acetylcholine and serotonin shifts during REM sleep. So it's still a myth for now.
