Does wellbutrin help with sleep?

I often struggle with falling asleep and staying asleep at night. My doctor recently mentioned Wellbutrin for my other issues. I was wondering if this medication could also help improve my sleep quality?

Actually, it is known to cause insomnia in the beginning. Just make sure you take it first thing in the morning so the effect wears off by bedtime.

This medicine is quite hot and activating, so it might actually disturb your rest. Drink a cup of warm milk with cardamom before sleeping to help soothe your mind.

I couldn't sleep at all during my first week and kept searching if it was dangerous. It does get better, but definitely don't take it close to your bedtime.

Instead of buying expensive sleeping aids, try basic lifestyle adjustments first. Take the dose early and turn off your phone screens by 9 PM.
