Does weed affect sleep quality?

Sometimes I struggle with getting good quality sleep, and I've heard conflicting things about what helps or harms it. I'm curious to know if weed affects overall sleep quality, positively or negatively.

Let's be real here. It might help you pass out quickly, but the quality of sleep you get is pretty bad. You miss out on the actual restorative sleep cycles, which is why people wake up feeling foggy. Better to fix your lifestyle instead of relying on it.

In the long run, it definitely messes up your natural sleep cycles. While it might knock you out initially, your deep sleep recovery drops significantly. For proper muscle recovery and energy, natural sleep combined with a clean diet is always best.

Bro, I used to smoke up every night thinking it was curing my insomnia. But honestly, I was waking up tired every single day. I stopped a month ago, and though it was hard to fall asleep at first, my daytime energy has improved so much now.

I used to panic because I couldn't sleep at all after I stopped smoking weed. I thought I had permanent insomnia! But my doctor reassured me that it is just withdrawal and my natural sleep cycle would return. Within two weeks, my sleep quality was back to normal.

At my age, even an extra cup of tea after 6 PM ruins my sleep, so I can only imagine what weed does! From what I have heard from younger folks, it just gives you fake sleep and leaves you tired. Stick to a quiet walk and warm milk, it is safer.

When I visited a specialist at Manipal Hospital for my sleep issues, they clearly explained that cannabis alters sleep architecture by reducing REM sleep. If you are using it as a sleep aid, please speak to a qualified physician to address the root cause of your sleep problems.

I would be so worried about the long-term effects on brain health and memory. Sleep is when our brain cleans itself out, and if weed is disrupting that, it sounds really scary. Please try to consult a doctor to find a healthier way to sleep.
