Does walking cause heart attack?

My uncle recently had a heart attack and now I'm feeling very anxious about everything. I try to go for a daily walk to stay fit, but my neighbour said too much walking can also be bad for the heart and might even cause issues. I am a bit worried now, can simple walking actually cause a heart attack?

Usually, a gentle walk is the best natural way to keep your heart healthy. But if you feel any chest heaviness or breathlessness while walking, please stop immediately and consult a cardiologist. Don't ignore such signals.

Arre nahi baba, walking is supposed to prevent it, not cause it! Though sometimes my knees feel like they are giving up, my heart is totally fine with a basic walk. Just don't start sprinting like a teenager on day one.

Not at all, bro. In fact, my dad's doc told him to walk every day to keep his heart fit. Unless you have some serious pre-existing condition and you are running a marathon suddenly, walking is super safe.

Walking actually improves cardiovascular health. However, if you have any family history of heart issues, it is always best to get a basic checkup and treadmill test done before starting any new fitness routine.

Please relax, walking is one of the safest exercises you can do. Just listen to your body and don't overexert yourself. If you are starting after a long time, begin with a slow 10-minute stroll and gradually build it up.

I have been walking for my diabetes for 10 years now, and it has only helped my heart and sugar levels. Just make sure you stay hydrated and don't walk on an empty stomach if you take insulin.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Walking is super gentle and actually great for your heart. Just put on some good music, walk at a normal speed, and enjoy the fresh air.

I have high blood pressure, and my doctor highly recommends a 30-minute daily walk to keep my heart strong. Just monitor your BP regularly and avoid walking in extreme cold or hot weather.

My husband was very scared of this after his cousin had a scare, but our family doctor reassured us that moderate walking is excellent. We now go together every evening, keeping a very steady, comfortable pace.

Moderate walking is very healthy, but you should always monitor how your body feels. I get my thyroid and basic blood work checked every six months just to make sure everything is fine before keeping up with my fitness routine.
