Does walgreens give tb shots?

My company is asking everyone to get a TB shot for an overseas assignment. I was wondering if Walgreen pharmacies in India provide TB shots, or do I need to go to a specific clinic or hospital for this? Any info would be helpful.

I think Walgreens only does the TB skin tests and blood tests, not the actual BCG vaccine shot. Does anyone know if we have to go to a proper hospital for the vaccination instead?

Wait, do they actually give the TB vaccine shot there, or is it just the skin test injection? I am a bit confused and nervous about getting the wrong thing done, did anyone else feel this way?

Walgreens clinics generally administer the TB skin test, not the vaccine. For preventing lung issues, we traditionally use ginger and honey, but for proper TB medical requirements, please consult a hospital doctor.

When I went to Walgreens, they only gave me the TB skin test injection to check for infection. I didn't get any immunization shot there, so you might want to call them to clarify.

Don't assume Walgreens gives TB prevention vaccines just because they do skin tests. You need to verify directly with a certified doctor or the pharmacy staff instead of relying on internet guesses.

Actually, based on my research, the 'TB shot' people refer to is usually just the PPD skin test injection. Walgreens does this test widely, but they do not provide the actual BCG vaccine.
