Does viral cause fever?

I've been feeling a bit under the weather for the past couple of days, with body aches and a general sense of unwellness. My family members are saying it must be a viral infection. Does viral infection always cause a fever? I don't feel like I have one, but I'm not sure.

Yes, absolutely! Fever is just your body's way of fighting off the virus. 🌡️ Just drink lots of water, rest up, and you'll be back on your feet soon! 😊

Oh absolutely, viral infections definitely bring a fever, and the worst part is it totally ruins your taste buds! I usually just crave hot, spicy tomato soup and khichdi with lots of ghee when I'm down. Eat light and let the fever run its course.

Yes beta, viral infections always bring a fever as the body fights the infection. Keep a damp cloth on the forehead to keep the temperature down and give them light food. If the temperature doesn't drop, please consult your pediatrician.

Yes, viral infections cause fever, but please don't ignore it like I did once. If the fever stays very high or is accompanied by severe shivering or trouble breathing, go to a hospital immediately instead of just taking paracetamol.

Yes, fever is a standard response to a viral infection. If it's a mild fever, take rest and manage it with standard over-the-counter medication. If it persists beyond three days, schedule a doctor's visit to rule out other infections.
