Does uti causes lower back pain?

I've been feeling under the weather for a few days, with a burning sensation during urination and now some lower back pain. My colleague mentioned that UTIs can sometimes cause back pain. Is this true for a urinary tract infection, thoda?

When I had a UTI last year, I had really bad lower back pain that I initially mistook for muscle soreness. Once I finished the antibiotics my doctor gave me, both the burning and the backache completely went away.

Haan, lower back pain is very common with a UTI, na. But if the backache is really severe, it can mean the infection is reaching the kidneys. Better to show a doctor soon and get proper treatment.

Yes, lower back pain can happen with a urinary tract infection. My mother told me to drink tender coconut water to reduce heat, but we still went to our family doctor to get proper testing done. Please seek a medical opinion.

The body speaks to us in different ways, and back pain can certainly be a sign of a urinary tract imbalance. Keep your thoughts peaceful, drink clean water to flush the system, and consult a doctor for proper care.

Since diabetics are more prone to UTIs, I watch out for lower back pain carefully. High sugar levels can feed the infection, so keeping blood sugar in check is crucial. Please see a doctor immediately if you have back pain with a UTI.
