Does uti cause side pain?

I have symptoms that feel like a UTI, but I'm also getting a discomfort or mild pain on one side of my back, near my waist. Could this 'side pain' be related to a urinary tract infection, or should I be worried about something else?

Actually yaar, side pain with a UTI is not something to take lightly. It usually means the infection has traveled up towards your kidneys. Better to see a doctor immediately and get it checked.

I once ignored minor side pain thinking it was just a muscle pull, but it was a UTI that had reached my kidneys. I had to be hospitalized. Please don't repeat my mistake and go get a proper checkup right now.

In my experience, gentle breathing can help calm the mind, but side pain during a UTI indicates the body needs urgent medical care. This pain usually points to the kidneys. Please consult a doctor immediately for safe treatment.

Side pain, also called flank pain, is a clear warning sign of a kidney infection stemming from a UTI. You need to see a doctor immediately. Do not rely on over-the-counter painkillers, as you need proper antibiotics.

I was just reading about this yesterday. Apparently, lower back or side pain during a UTI is a common sign of a kidney infection rather than just a simple bladder issue. It is definitely recommended to see a doctor fast.

Drinking lots of water and coconut water helps flush the bladder, but side pain means the UTI is affecting your kidneys. Dietary adjustments cannot cure this. Please visit a clinic immediately to get prescription medicine.
