Does uterus fibroids cause pain?

My doctor recently told me I have uterine fibroids after I complained about heavy periods. Sometimes I get these sharp pains in my lower abdomen. I'm wondering if the fibroids are causing this pain.

Uterine fibroids can cause significant lower abdominal pain and heavy pressure. My mother suggested hot water fermentation for relief, but we immediately consulted our family gynecologist. Please see a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.

Haan na, they definitely cause pain, especially during periods. Many of my friends have went through this and they had severe backache and cramps too. Better to get an ultrasound done, do not ignore it.

Haan, fibroids can cause really bad pelvic pain and heavy bleeding, na. Mere cousin ko bhi yehi problem thi and she used to be in so much discomfort. Please consult a good gynaecologist, don't keep suffering.
