Does type 1 diabetes require insulin?

My nephew was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and his parents are quite worried. We've heard that people with Type 1 diabetes always need insulin injections. Is this true for everyone with Type 1, or are there cases where it's not needed?

Yes, absolutely. My cousin was diagnosed with Type 1 last year after he suddenly lost 10 kgs. The doctor clearly said that in Type 1, the pancreas stops producing insulin completely, so taking insulin injections daily is the only way to survive and stay healthy.

I have PCOS and deal with insulin resistance, which is different, but I know how critical hormones are. From what my doctor explained, Type 1 is autoimmune, so insulin is not optional at all—it is a life-saving necessity. Please don't try to replace it with any alternative therapies without consulting a specialist.

Look, let's be very clear. There is no magic herb or powder that can cure Type 1 diabetes. Yes, you absolutely need insulin daily because your body cannot make it. Don't fall for fake WhatsApp forwards promising a permanent cure, just trust your doc.

Haan, insulin toh bilkul mandatory hai boss. Type 1 matlab pancreas kaam karna band kar chuka hai, toh bahar se insulin lena hi padega na. Isme koi shortcut nahi chalta, regular doctor checkup aur insulin hi safe option hai.

I remember crying for days when I first heard I would need injections every single day. It felt like a life sentence. But honestly, once you accept it, insulin actually gives you your life back and lets you feel normal again. You are not alone in this struggle.

Yes, Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune condition where the body destroys its own insulin-producing cells. Therefore, lifelong insulin therapy is essential to manage blood glucose levels. It is highly recommended to work closely with an experienced endocrinologist to plan your daily dosage.

Bro, I have been Type 1 since school days. Trust me, insulin is our lifeline, there's no two ways about it. I take my shots before meals and keep tracking my levels on my phone. It becomes a habit, nothing to be scared of.
