My grandmother always used to tell us to drink haldi milk for any bone pain. But honestly, when my father's knee pain got worse, the doctor said proper medical treatment is must. Turmeric can support, but don't skip the actual arthritis medicine prescribe by your doc.
It definitely has anti-inflammatory properties, so adding it to your diet helps a bit with recovery. But you also need to focus on low-impact joint mobility exercises and keeping your weight in check. Just relying on haldi won't magically cure the stiffness.
Humare yahan toh sab dard mein haldi lagate bhi hain aur doodh mein peete bhi hain. It gives good relief to the joints. But beta, if the pain is too much, please go to a big hospital and show a good doctor.
Look, turmeric contains curcumin which is good for inflammation, but the absorption in our regular food is very low. Don't expect dramatic pain relief just by adding extra haldi to your sabzi. Better to consult an orthopaedic doctor and get a proper diagnosis done first.

I take a little haldi in warm water, and it feels nice, but my main focus is always on my doctor's prescription. Along with managing my high BP, I keep getting regular blood tests done to see if my inflammation markers are fine. Definitely talk to your doctor before trying any heavy home remedies.
