Does tramadol reduce fever?

Currently taking Tramadol for a muscle pull in my back. I've also developed a slight fever today. I'm wondering if the Tramadol will help bring down the fever, or if I need to take something else?

Haan na, tramadol thoda fever toh kam kar deta hai par ye normal bukhar ke liye nahi bani hai. Ye bhot heavy painkiller hai jo bade dukh me hi lete hain. Normal fever ke liye doctor paracetamol hi prescribe karte hain.

Please don't take tramadol for fever. I had a bad reaction when I took it without understanding how strong it is, and my condition got worse. You must go to a clinic and get a proper diagnosis for your fever rather than using heavy painkillers.

I had a bad accident last year and doctor gave me tramadol for the pain. It did help with the mild fever I got from the injury, but my doctor told me it's not a standard fever medicine. Don't use it like paracetamol, it's too strong.

I know how exhausting it is when you have a persistent fever and just want relief from the body aches. But using tramadol can be really harsh on your emotional and physical health. Please be kind to yourself and let a doctor recommend a safer, gentler medicine.

I remember panicking when my fever didn't come down with normal meds and I considered taking tramadol, but thankfully my doctor stopped me. She explained that while it has some minor fever-reducing effects, it's primarily for severe pain. Standard fever medicines are much safer once your body adjusts.

I can only share that when I was hospitalized for a bone fracture, tramadol was given to me and it kept my pain and temperature under control. However, I have never seen anyone take it for regular fever at home. It's best to consult a medical professional.

Arre, tramadol is like using a cannon to shoot a mosquito! It might reduce fever, but it's a super heavy painkiller. Just take a normal paracetamol and get some sleep instead of knocking yourself out with something so strong.

I just recovered from a severe viral infection last week. When I asked my physician if I could take tramadol for the heavy body pain and fever, he strictly said no and put me on regular paracetamol instead. Stick to what the doctor advises for fever.
