Does thyroid tinnitus go away?

This constant ringing in my ears has been really disturbing my peace, and my doctor said it might be related to my thyroid problem. I'm wondering if this thyroid-related tinnitus can eventually disappear or if I have to live with it permanently.

I have PCOS and thyroid issues, and I sometimes experience that annoying ringing in my ears during bad flare-ups. It does get better and less noticeable when my hormones are stable, but everyone's body is different. Try not to stress too much and discuss it with your gynecologist or endocrinologist.

I had this constant buzzing in my ears when my thyroid levels were highly unstable. My doctor at Max Hospital explained that once we bring the TSH back to the normal range with correct medication, the tinnitus usually fades away. Definitely get an appointment to check your hormone levels.

Haan babu, mere kaan me bhi pehle sany-sany ki awaz aati thi thyroid ke wajah se. Hum bahut dar gaye the par jab se daktar babu ki subah wali goli shuru ki, dheere dheere woh awaz aana band ho gayi. Aap chinta mat kijiye, dawai samay par khaiye sab theek hoga.

I understand how irritating that constant ear ringing can be. I tried oil pulling, warm compresses, and cutting down salt, which gave very minor relief. What actually worked was correcting my thyroid dosage under my doctor's supervision, so focus on getting your blood reports right first.

Honestly, that ringing sound during exams used to drive me crazy and I thought it was just exam stress. Turned out my thyroid was borderline high. It took a couple of months after starting treatment, but the sound is mostly gone now, so dont lose hope, dude.

Look, tinnitus because of thyroid is actually quite common but it won't just magically disappear overnight. You have to be patient while your hormone levels settle down with treatment. Keep your room a bit noisy or use white noise if it disturbs your sleep, and stick to your doctor's plan.

I panicked so much thinking I was going permanently deaf when the ringing first started! I visited three ENT specialists before realizing it was just my thyroid acting up. Once my TSH became normal, the noise literally vanished. Don't worry, it's very likely temporary!
