Does theraflu make you sleep?

I have a bit of a cold and was thinking of taking Theraflu to feel better for work tomorrow. But I have an important meeting. Does Theraflu make you sleepy, or can I take it without issues?

Yes, it can make you super sleepy, especially the nighttime version. I panicked when I slept for almost 10 hours straight after taking it, but my doctor assured me it was just the antihistamine doing its job to help me rest.

I have heard some flu medicines cause a lot of drowsiness. Does the normal daytime Theraflu also make you feel sleepy, or is it only the nighttime one?

I totally get how frustrating it is when you need to work but the flu medicine keeps making you drowse off. The nighttime one definitely makes you sleep, so try to take it only when you are done for the day.

Yes, it is designed to help your body rest. Sleep is a wonderful, natural way for our system to heal itself, so embrace the rest and keep a positive mind while you recover. Take care.

It definitely puts me to sleep within half an hour! If you have to drive or study, avoid taking the nighttime version during the day. Stick to daytime formulas instead.
