Does the sun help scalp psoriasis?

Dealing with scalp psoriasis has been my reality for many years, and sometimes it gets really itchy and uncomfortable. Someone once said that a little bit of sun can actually help with it. Is there any truth to this, or should I completely avoid sun exposure?

Nature has its own ways of healing our body. Sitting in the mild morning sun for 10 minutes can bring a lot of relief to your scalp. Stay positive and let your body heal gently.

Haan, thodi dhoop actually scalp psoriasis ke liye achhi hoti hai na. Sunlight ke UV rays skin cells ka fast growth slow karte hain. Bas dhyan rakhna ki zyada dhoop se burn na ho jaye.

Yes, mild morning sunlight can help reduce scalp psoriasis scaling, but avoid harsh afternoon sun.

I was researching this online and found out that dermatologists actually use phototherapy, which uses artificial UV light, to treat psoriasis. So mild natural sunlight does help in a similar way!

I have read that moderate UV light helps reduce psoriasis plaques. However, just like managing diabetes, moderation is key because sunburn can trigger more skin irritation.
