Does the liver store bile?

My friend mentioned that bile helps with fat digestion, but I'm confused if it's stored in the liver itself. Is there another organ for that, or does the liver store bile too? I'm trying to understand how our digestive system works in detail.

No, it doesn't store it. The liver makes the bile, but the gallbladder is the little pouch that actually stores it until you eat. Don't worry, it's a very common confusion, nothing to get tensed about.

The liver is the factory that produces bile, but the storage unit is the gallbladder. When we eat fatty foods, the gallbladder squeezes that stored bile into the intestine. Hope that clears up the path for you.

Actually, the gallbladder stores it, not the liver itself. I got super confused about this too during my biology prep days. The liver is just the producer.

The liver is only the creator, storage happens in the gallbladder. For keeping bile flow smooth, drinking warm water with a pinch of turmeric has helped my family's digestion for years.

Liver makes it, gallbladder stores it. If you have gallbladder stones, doctors sometimes remove it, and then the liver just drips bile directly into the stomach. Keeping food simple and low-oil is the best way to handle any such digestion issues.

No, it's stored in the gallbladder. Please don't trust any random 'gallbladder flush' remedies on YouTube to clear bile issues. Go to a real doctor and get an ultrasound done.

Nope, liver makes it and gallbladder stores it. This stored bile is what saves us when we attack a heavy biryani plate! Keep the liver healthy so the supply never runs out.

I had my gallbladder removed last month, so I know this well. The liver makes bile but now I don't have a gallbladder to store it, so it flows directly. Digestion is a bit different now but managing well with low fat diet.

No, gallbladder is the storage tank. The liver just synthesizes it. If you're dealing with sluggish digestion or bile reflux, check with a gastroenterologist rather than self-diagnosing.

It is stored in the gallbladder. I ignored mild right-side stomach pain for months thinking it was just gas, but it was a blocked bile duct. Please get a proper scan done if you are feeling persistent pain there.
