Does the human liver regenerate?

I was watching a documentary about organ transplants and they mentioned how some organs can recover. It made me wonder about the liver. Does the human liver regenerate itself if it gets damaged?

Thank god it does, considering how much black coffee and late-night spicy maggi I dump into my system. But seriously, even though it grows back, we probably shouldn't push our luck too far with bad habits.

Yes, the liver is amazing and can regrow even if a large part is removed. But we still have to be careful; chronic issues like fatty liver can cause permanent damage if we don't manage our diet and lifestyle on time.

It is true, the liver is the only organ in our body that can fully regenerate itself from healthy tissue. However, this recovery depends on keeping a clean lifestyle, so avoid alcohol and processed foods to let it do its job well.

Yes! I studied this in college and was so fascinated. Even if a big part is donated, it grows back to its original size in a few months. Our bodies are truly incredible, aren't they?

It does regenerate, but to support this process, we must feed it right. Eating a clean, plant-based diet with green leafy vegetables and avoiding heavy fried foods gives the liver the perfect environment to repair itself naturally.

Yes, it has great capacity to heal, but high blood sugar and fatty liver can slow down this natural process. If you have any ongoing health issues, make sure to monitor your liver function tests regularly along with your HbA1c.
