Does the flu give you a fever?

I've been feeling quite under the weather, with a lot of tiredness and body ache, and a slight cough. My mother said it might be the flu. Does the flu always give you a fever, or can symptoms vary a lot?

Haan na, flu usually brings a very high fever that makes you feel completely drained out. Mere saath bhi jab bhi flu hota hai, high temperature aata hi hai. Take proper rest and drink lots of warm water.

Oh bro, absolutely! The flu gave me a 102 fever last semester right during my exams, and it completely wrecked me. If you have it, just skip the classes and sleep, because you can't focus anyway.

It usually does, but everyone's immune system is different, so some might not get a fever. When you have PCOS, dealing with the flu and fever can feel extra draining. Just take it easy and don't push yourself.

Actually yaar, yes. The main difference between a regular cold and the flu is that the flu hits you suddenly with a fever and crazy body aches. Keep a thermometer handy and keep checking it.
