Does thc help migraine?

Migraines have been a constant problem for me for years, and traditional medicines don't always work. I've read a few articles saying THC can help with migraine pain. Could this be a viable option, or is it just anecdotal?

I get terrible migraines every monsoon and was actually reading up on alternative therapies. Some articles claim it helps with the throbbing pain, but I'm still a bit skeptical. Has anyone actually tried it under a doctor's supervision?

When I visited the neurology department at KMC Hospital, the doctor specifically told me not to self-medicate for chronic headaches. Migraines can have many triggers, and trying unregulated compounds can sometimes make the headaches rebound. Please get a proper hospital prescription first.

For my migraines, keeping hydrated and maintaining a consistent sleep schedule has been a lifesaver. I also make sure to exercise daily which keeps my blood circulation good. External substances might offer temporary relief, but managing your lifestyle is a more permanent fix.

Honestly, with a 9-to-6 job, we don't have time to experiment with things that might make us feel drowsy or sluggish the next day. Standard migraine medication prescribed by a physician is much faster and more practical for keeping you active during work.

Migraines are often a sign of deep mental tension and a restless mind. Try to sit in a quiet, dark room, practice gentle deep breathing, and stay positive. Gentle care and meditation can work wonders to soothe your nervous system.

I used to get severe migraine attacks twice a week. I tried medical cannabis extracts prescribed by a specialist, and it did reduce the intensity of the throbbing. But you must be careful with the dosage because too much of it actually gave me a dull headache the next morning.

Having dealt with migraines for fifteen years, I've realized there's no single magic cure. While some people find relief with cannabinoids, your best bet is finding your triggers, like bright lights or certain foods. Keep a headache diary and discuss it with a neurologist.
