Does thc effect the liver?

I'm generally cautious about anything that might impact my internal organs. Does THC have any specific effects on the liver, good or bad? Just trying to understand it better.

I used to ignore slight abdominal pain thinking it was just acidity, and it turned out to be early liver issues. Anything you ingest is processed by your liver, so don't take it lightly. Go get a proper Liver Function Test (LFT) done before trying anything new.

Yes, it definitely affects how your liver filters other medicines. It's always best to discuss this with your physician first.

Listen, don't stress yourself out too much reading horror stories online, okay? Yes, the liver metabolizes it, but occasional use doesn't suddenly cause liver failure. Just be smart, don't overdo anything, and keep your health in check.

Since I have thyroid, I have to get blood tests done every six months, and I always ask my doctor about how things affect my liver and kidneys. Any external compound can alter your metabolic parameters. Please consult your doctor and get regular checkups to stay safe.

I was actually researching this same thing yesterday because my friend was talking about it. From what I read, it interacts with liver enzymes which can change how your body processes other daily medications. Quite interesting how everything is linked in our body!
