Does testicular cancer hurt?

I've been feeling some discomfort in my groin area recently, and it's making me a bit worried. I read about testicular cancer online. Does testicular cancer always hurt, or can it be painless?

I am asking this for my brother who has some dull ache down there. Does testicular cancer always cause sharp pain, or can it just be a painless lump? We are a bit worried.

My son went through a cancer scare last year. It started with just a mild, dull ache and swelling, not severe pain. Please take him to a urologist right away for a proper checkup, early detection is very important.

Actually, in most cases, testicular cancer starts as a painless lump or just a heavy feeling in the scrotum rather than sharp pain. Don't wait for it to start hurting. Get an ultrasound done immediately to be sure.

Look, whether it hurts or not, any lump or change in size in that area needs immediate medical attention. Don't feel shy or waste time searching online. Go to a hospital and get a physical examination done.

I felt a small hard spot recently and I've been extremely anxious, though there is no pain at all. Has anyone else experienced this? I am planning to see a doctor tomorrow but I'm really scared.
