Does teething cause fever 102?

Our baby is getting his first tooth, and he has a fever, around 102 degrees F. I'm really worried about the temperature. Does teething cause fever that high, like 102?

I was just reading a pediatric blog today about this. Actually, studies show that teething doesn't cause a fever over 101 degrees Fahrenheit. If it is 102, it is most likely some viral or bacterial infection, so you should definitely consult a doctor.

Oh no, 102 fever is really high and I would be super panicky if my baby had that. Teething usually only causes a very mild body warmth, not high fever. Please contact your pediatrician immediately to see what is actually causing it.

102 fever thoda zyada hai ho na. Usually teething me thoda garm hota hai body, but not this high. Please doctor ko dikha lo, risk nahi lena chahiye bacho ke sath.

Hey, don't stress too much but 102 is definitely not just teething. Most likely the baby put some dirty toy in the mouth and got a little tummy bug. Just check with your doc and get them checked up soon, okay?

I have raised four kids and none of them ever got 102 fever just from teething. Mild crankiness and warm body is normal, but 102 means some other issue is there. Take the little one to the clinic today itself.

Haan yaar, 102 fever teething se nahi hota. Bache jab har cheez muh me dalte hain teething ke time, tab infection ho jata hai na, uski wajah se fever aata hai. Doctor ko call karo jaldi.
