Haan, garam chai peene se thoda chest me relief toh lagta hai, specially ginger ya tulsi wali. Par asthma ke liye doctor ki medicine hi kaam aati hai na. Warm tea bas comfort ke liye achhi hai.
A warm cup of black tea or ginger tea can give temporary relief because the warmth relaxes the airways. But it is not a cure. Keep your inhaler ready and avoid dusty environments as much as possible.
Please be very careful. My sister once tried to manage a severe asthma flare-up with hot herbal teas, and she ended up in the emergency room because her breathing got worse. Tea cannot replace medical inhalers or prescriptions; see a doctor immediately.
I manage my thyroid and other breathing issues with regular doctor visits. While black tea contains small amounts of theophylline which can dilate airways, it is not a treatment. Keep taking your regular checkups and follow your doctor's plan.
I consult a pulmonologist at Max Hospital for my respiratory issues. He explicitly told me that while warm fluids can soothe the throat, they do not treat asthma inflammation. You must get a proper diagnosis and clear medical advice from a specialist.
