Does tallow help eczema?

My skin has been really dry and itchy because of eczema lately. Someone suggested using tallow on it for relief, but I'm not sure if it's safe or effective.

Honestly, people try all kinds of natural remedies like tallow for eczema, but managing skin issues can be like tracking thyroid levels. You need to keep doing proper tests to see what your body is actually reacting to. Better to consult a proper skin doc before applying heavy fats on irritated skin.

Bro, I tried grass-fed tallow last winter for my dry patches. It honestly works great as a heavy moisturizer, but it smells thoda weird and didn't cure my actual eczema flare-ups. Just use a normal unscented doc recommended lotion, saves a lot of hassle.

Beta, these modern trends are just old things repackaged. At home we used to apply virgin coconut oil or plain ghee for dry skin rashes, which feels much safer than tallow. But if the itching is too much, please show it to a local doctor chacha nearby.

Please be very careful with raw animal fats like tallow on broken skin. I tried a similar viral remedy last year and got a severe bacterial infection that needed antibiotics. Please go to a dermatologist instead of testing these internet things on raw eczema patches.

Dealing with chronic skin flare-ups is so exhausting, I totally get it. Tallow might soothe some dry skin because of the fatty acids, but everyone's skin barrier is different, especially if you have hormonal imbalances. Start with a tiny patch test first so you don't trigger a bad reaction.

With a busy office routine, trying to source pure tallow and dealing with its greasy application is just not practical. A standard over-the-counter eczema cream takes five seconds to apply and actually works. Save your time and stick to clinically proven options.
