Look, there is no confusion here. Yes, sunscreen protects your skin from cancer. The Indian sun is very harsh, so skipping sunscreen is just inviting trouble. Buy any good SPF 30 or 50 cream and start applying it daily.

It definitely does. I ride my bike a lot and used to get terrible burns on my arms until I started using sunscreen. My skin feels much healthier now and my doctor said it is the best way to prevent long-term skin issues and cancer.

In my days we used to apply fresh malai or aloe vera after coming from outside to cool the skin, but we must use modern sunscreens too. They are scientifically made to block the dangerous rays that cause skin cancer. Both old and new ways have their place.

Yeah, it totally protects you. Our college campus is huge and the afternoon sun is brutal, so my friends and I always carry sunscreen. It blocks those nasty UV rays and keeps your skin safe from dangerous damage.

I was reading some medical research papers on this, and the statistics are very clear. Regular sunscreen use reduces the risk of squamous cell carcinoma by about 40 percent. It is definitely a lifesaver for our skin.
