Does sunlight kill psoriasis?

My psoriasis flares up quite often and I'm always looking for ways to get some relief. I heard someone say that sunlight can actually 'kill' psoriasis. Is there any truth to this?

It doesn't completely 'kill' or cure psoriasis, but natural sunlight is excellent for managing it. The UV rays help to slow down the rapid skin cell buildup. Try to get about 10 to 15 minutes of early morning sun regularly, it works beautifully.

Humare yahan sab kahte hain ki subah ki dhoop sab bimarion ko door karti hai. Psoriasis ke liye subah thodi der dhoop mein baithna bahut faydemand hota hai, thandak milti hai skin ko. Par dhoop tez hone se pehle andar aa jana.

I was told that sunlight can cure psoriasis, but when I tried it, my skin got very red and started peeling. Does anyone else feel like sunlight actually irritates their patches instead of healing them? I am a bit scared to try it again.

Psoriasis is a chronic condition, so nothing really 'kills' it forever, but morning sunlight is a great natural therapy. I always apply a thin moisturizer before sitting in the mild sun so my skin doesn't dry out. Avoid the midday heat completely as sweat triggers itching.

In my experience, sunlight helps soothe psoriasis scales, but it requires a balanced lifestyle. Along with mild sun exposure, regular doctor visits and checking your overall health parameters is very important to manage such chronic conditions.

I panicked when my psoriasis flared up and thought I needed expensive laser treatments. But my dermatologist told me that just stepping out in the morning sun for 10 minutes acts like a natural phototherapy. It really helped control the scales without any cost!

Sunlight won't shoot down your psoriasis like a Bollywood hero, but it definitely helps calm those dramatic skin cells! Just think of morning sun as a gentle massage for your skin. Keep it light, don't get sunburnt like a tomato.
