Does sun screen cause cancer?

I'm very diligent about applying sunscreen every day, but recently I heard a rumor that some sunscreens might actually contain chemicals that cause cancer. This has made me very worried. Can sunscreen itself cause cancer?

I have been using basic sunscreen for the last thirty years whenever I go out for my morning walks. My skin is in very good shape and I have never faced any issues. Don't believe these modern internet rumors.

Bro, my dermat literally said sunscreen is the most important thing to prevent skin damage. There's no scientific proof that sunscreen causes cancer. Don't skip it, especially in our hot summers.

If sunscreen caused cancer, all these beauty influencers would be in deep trouble by now! It actually protects you from harsh UV rays. Just buy a decent brand from the pharmacy instead of some random chemical-heavy local stuff.

Protecting your body is a form of self-care. Do not let these fearful thoughts disturb your mind. Sunscreen is just a shield for your skin, use it peacefully to stay healthy.

No, sunscreen does not cause cancer. It is clinically proven to protect your skin from harmful UV radiation.

I travel a lot for client meetings and always wear sunscreen. Some people worry about chemical filters, but you can easily switch to a physical or mineral sunscreen containing zinc oxide if you want a safer option.
