Does sugar make eczema worse?

I've been struggling with eczema flare-ups for a few months now, and I'm trying to figure out what triggers them. My dermatologist suggested looking at my diet. Can consuming sugar actually make eczema worse, or is it unrelated?

Mere bete ko bhi khujli ki dikkat thi jab wo bohot meetha khata tha. Humne uska bahr ka meetha khana band karwaya toh thoda aaram mila. Aap bhi thoda parhez karke dekhiye, farq padega.

In our times, we believed that hot and sweet foods create heat in the blood, causing skin eruptions. Applying real aloe vera gel can cool the skin, but you must also keep your stomach clean by avoiding heavy refined sweets.

I consulted a dermatologist at Manipal Hospital for my severe eczema. They told me that while sugar doesn't directly cause eczema, it can worsen inflammation in some people. You should consult a proper dermatologist to identify your specific triggers.

I totally feel you, eczema flare-ups are the absolute worst. Honestly, sugar causes inflammation, which definitely triggers my dry skin patches. Try swapping sugar with dates or honey for a week and see if your skin calms down.

Bro, my face eczema always gets bad during college exams because I eat so many chocolates and drink energy drinks. The sugar-stress combo is real. Cutting down on junk definitely helped clear up my skin flare-ups.

I totally get it, the constant itching and skin peeling is so frustrating and draining. Sugar definitely acts as a trigger for many of us because it spike insulin and inflammation. Hang in there and try reducing sweets slowly.

Managing inflammation is all about overall lifestyle. Along with reducing processed sugar, regular sweating through light cardio or jogging helps improve skin health by flushing out toxins. Just ensure you shower and moisturize right after.
