Does sugar make cancer grow?

A friend of mine recently recovered from cancer, and during his treatment, he was told to strictly avoid all sugar. This made me quite curious and concerned about cancer prevention. Does sugar make cancer grow, or is this connection exaggerated?

Hamare yahan log bolte hain ki meetha khane se bimari badhti hai, par aisa bilkul nahi hai. Shareer ko taqat ke liye thoda khana zaroori hai. Bas acche doctor se pooch kar hi diet follow karein, tension mat lijiye.

Being a huge foodie, I read up on this because I can't live without desserts. Honestly, cancer cells consume glucose, but so do normal cells. Cutting sweet treats completely won't stop the disease, so balance is key, no need to starve yourself of joy.

Please don't believe these YouTube videos claiming sugar feeds cancer and that fasting cures it. These are dangerous half-truths. Always verify everything with a qualified oncologist who actually understands your medical history.

Listen, don't stress too much about every single thing you eat. Yes, too much sugar isn't great for overall fitness, but it doesn't directly feed cancer like people say. Just focus on eating fresh food and staying happy, okay?

I have seen many families go through this struggle and worry about diet. Sugar itself doesn't directly fuel cancer, but a high-sugar diet causes weight gain, which is a known risk factor. Maintain a healthy weight and trust the medical treatment.

If sugar directly grew cancer, half of our sweet-loving country would be in trouble by now! Jokes aside, just keep your sweet tooth in check for your teeth and waistline. Don't let the internet scare you into eating tasteless food.

During my chemotherapy last year, I asked my doctor this exact question because I was terrified of sugar. She told me to eat whatever my body could digest easily to keep my energy up, even if it had sugar. Don't restrict your food unnecessarily.

Look, simple logic: eating too much sugar makes you obese, which is bad for all diseases. It doesn't mean eating one rasgulla will grow a tumor overnight. Stop reading WhatsApp forwards and focus on clean, homemade meals.
