Does sucralose cause cavities?

Drinking a lot of diet sodas and using sucralose in my tea, I always thought it was better for teeth than sugar. But my dentist friend said it might still cause issues. Does sucralose cause cavities, or is it generally safe for teeth?

Thankfully, sucralose doesn't feed the bacteria in your mouth like normal sugar does, so no cavities! Still, nothing beats a good old chocolate, just remember to rinse well after eating.

Haan, bilkul nahi! Sucralose se cavities ka koi khatra nahi hota kyunki mouth bacteria ise break nahi kar paate. Normal sugar hi sabse badi dushman hai daanton ki, haina?

Actually, switching to sucralose in your diet drinks is great for both your teeth and your fitness goals. It doesn't cause tooth decay, but don't forget to keep up with your regular dental cleanings anyway.

As a diabetic, I use sucralose quite often. Dentists also prefer it because it doesn't ferment in the mouth, keeping your dental health safe. Always a good choice over regular table sugar.

Studies indicate that sucralose is non-cariogenic, meaning it does not promote tooth decay. However, maintaining good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day and visiting your dentist regularly is still essential.

My family always says to rinse the mouth after every meal to keep teeth strong. Sucralose itself doesn't cause cavities, which is comforting, but proper daily dental care is still the most trusted way.
