Does stress and anxiety cause cancer?

My uncle passed away from cancer recently, and he was always a very stressed and anxious person. My mother is now worried that her own stress could lead to the same. Can high levels of stress and anxiety actually cause cancer?

Haan, log bolte hain par medical science ke hisab se stress se cancer nahi hota na. Haalanki stress hamari body ki strength kam kar deta hai, jo baki bimariyon ka reason ban sakta hai. Isliye faltu chinta mat karo aur doctor ki advice lo.

Actually yaar, there is no direct proof that stress causes cancer, but it definitely messes up your immune system. If you are always anxious, it affects your lifestyle, like sleep and diet, which isn't good. Better to take a break and talk to a doctor about managing anxiety.

I recently finished my cancer treatment, and my oncologist clearly told me that stress doesn't directly cause cancer. However, high anxiety did make my recovery process much harder on my body. Please focus on your mental health to help your overall physical well-being.

There is no scientific evidence linking daily stress directly to cancer. To calm your mind, you can try drinking chamomile tea or practicing light breathing exercises daily. But if you have persistent physical symptoms or severe anxiety, please consult a medical doctor.

I understand how terrifying it is to worry about these things. While anxiety does not cause cancer, it can make you feel physically sick and exhausted. Trying simple things like warm baths or taking a walk can help ease your mind, but a doctor can guide you best.

Don't fall for internet myths that link every mental worry directly to serious diseases like cancer. The real medical research does not support this claim. If you are experiencing high anxiety, go see a certified mental health professional instead of reading random websites.

I don't think there is a direct link, but as someone managing PCOS, I know how badly stress affects our hormones and overall health. It is always better to be supportive of your body by trying to manage anxiety, but please don't let Google search results scare you.
