Does strep always have a fever?

My younger one is complaining of a very bad throat, but his temperature is normal. My sister said strep throat always has a fever. Is it true, or does strep always have a fever or not?

Please don't wait for a fever to develop before you see a doctor. I once ignored a severe sore throat because I didn't have a temperature, and it turned into a very painful, deep throat infection that took weeks to cure. Go get a proper checkup immediately.

I completely understand how confusing and stressful it is when your symptoms don't match the standard list online. I used to panic checking my temperature every hour. It is absolutely possible to have strep without a fever, so don't worry, just let a doctor take a quick look.

No, strep throat doesn't always cause a fever, although it is a very common symptom. Please rest your throat and consult a doctor to get a proper diagnosis.

The human body reacts to bacteria in different ways, so fever is not always present with strep. Keep your mind calm, drink warm water infused with tulsi leaves, and seek medical advice to clear the infection safely.

For mild throat soreness, gargling with warm water containing turmeric and salt gives great relief. However, strep is a bacterial infection and doesn't always show a fever. If the pain is sharp or you see white spots in the mirror, please consult a doctor for medicine.

Haan na, actually people think if there is no fever, then it is just a simple cold. But strep can definitely be there without any fever. If your throat is hurting too much to swallow food, you should definitely visit a doc.

It doesn't always cause a fever. Don't waste days waiting for a fever to start while your throat gets worse and you miss work. Just book a quick 10-minute online doctor consultation or visit a nearby clinic to get a prescription.
