Does stomach cancer hurt?

Lately, I've been having some persistent stomach discomfort and it's making me anxious. My neighbor's uncle was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and it made me wonder. Does stomach cancer always cause pain, or can it be painless in early stages?

It can cause discomfort or a dull ache in the upper abdomen, but in the early stages, many people don't feel much pain at all. It usually starts with simple bloating or feeling full too quickly. Don't worry, but keeping an eye on digestion is always a good idea! 😊

Hey, don't stress too much and start imagining the worst things. Yes, stomach cancer can cause pain, but simple acidity, ulcers, or indigestion can also cause the exact same type of stomach ache. If you are feeling uneasy, just get it checked by a doc to be sure.

In our family, we usually take warm cumin water for any stomach discomfort, but my elder brother who is a doctor always says we shouldn't ignore persistent dull pain. Stomach cancer can cause a heavy feeling or mild ache. Please consult a specialist rather than relying on home tips.

I made the mistake of ignoring persistent burning and mild pain in my stomach for months, thinking it was just gastric trouble, and suffered a lot later. Please don't repeat my mistake. If you have continuous stomach pain, nausea, or loss of appetite, get a medical checkup immediately.

My uncle had severe stomach pain which we thought was just a regular ulcer, but it turned out to be a complex issue because we delayed his checkup. Please don't try to self-diagnose or wait for the pain to get unbearable. Go to a proper doctor and get an endoscopy done.

True, the pain isn't always there initially. If you or a family member are experiencing sudden, severe abdominal pain or vomiting blood, please go to the hospital immediately.

Stomach cancer doesn't always start with sharp pain. Often, it presents as persistent indigestion, unexplained weight loss, or difficulty swallowing. Because these symptoms mimic regular gastric issues, people tend to ignore them. It is always best to consult a gastroenterologist if issues persist.
