When you get the munchies from weed, you tend to eat salty snacks and chocolates, which are loaded with oxalates that form stones! It's better to avoid smoking so you can stick to healthy meals and keep your kidneys safe.

While weed itself may not directly cause kidney stones, the dehydration it causes is a massive risk factor. I use my water tracking app to ensure I drink at least 3.5 liters a day. If you smoke weed, you need to track your hydration even more carefully.

Any habit that alters your body's fluid balance can lead to crystal formation in the kidneys. If you are experiencing sharp back pain or burning during urination, please get an ultrasound done and see a doctor immediately.

High blood pressure and kidney health are closely linked, and smoking weed can cause sudden fluctuations in both. Make sure you get regular kidney function tests and BP checkups to ensure you aren't developing stones or renal strain.

Passing a kidney stone is incredibly painful and emotionally exhausting, and worrying if your weed habit caused it just adds guilt. It's okay to feel stressed. Just focus on healing, stop smoking, and let your body recover.

Listen to me, kidney stones are extremely painful, and smoking weed definitely contributes to dehydration, which triggers them. Take care of your body, drink coconut water daily, and stay away from smoking to keep your kidneys healthy.

In my younger days, I saw many friends suffer from painful kidney stones because they smoked weed and forgot to drink water. Don't worry, just keep yourself well hydrated with barley water and lemon juice, and stop smoking.
