Does smoking marijuana cause cancer?

I have some friends who smoke marijuana regularly and they joke about getting cancer. But on a serious note, does smoking marijuana cause cancer, or is it less harmful than cigarettes?

These days, reading the news makes me feel like everything causes cancer. But seriously, inhaling any kind of smoke into your lungs for years is going to cause some trouble eventually. Keep those lungs clear, you only get one pair!

I recently had to undergo extensive treatment for lung infections caused by heavy smoking habits, including weed. The doctors clearly explained that inhaling hot smoke damages the cellular lining of your lungs. It is best to quit before it leads to chronic issues.

I had severe bronchitis and lung complications from regular smoking in the past. Even if marijuana itself has different properties, the combustion process produces tar and harmful toxins. Please consult a pulmonologist to understand the damage it can cause.

I used to think joints were totally safe compared to cigarettes, but my breathing got super heavy and I developed a chronic cough. Smoke is smoke, guys. I quit completely and my chest feels way lighter now.

I was actually reading some research papers on this recently. While weed has different compounds, smoking it still releases carcinogens similar to tobacco. It is quite confusing with all the mixed info online, so talking to a health expert is definitely the safest bet.

Haan bhai, combustion toh ho hi raha hai na. Smoke toh andar jaa hi raha hai, chahe tobacco ho ya marijuana. Lungs ke liye dono hi harmful hain boss, toh thoda dhyaan rakho apna.

According to my family physician, marijuana smoke contains many of the same cancer-causing substances found in tobacco smoke. Even if you smoke it less frequently, the deep inhalation and holding of smoke can deposit more tar in your respiratory tract.

For peak cardiovascular health and endurance, inhaling any smoke is a big setback. It reduces your lung capacity and oxygen intake during workouts. Focus on clean nutrition, cardio, and keeping your respiratory system completely smoke-free.
