Yaar, actually smoking plays a huge role in blocking your arteries. My uncle's doctor told him straight up to quit because of stroke risk. Don't take it lightly, change your lifestyle a bit before things get complicated.

Yes, medically there is a very strong link between smoking and cardiovascular issues, including stroke. It affects blood circulation and damages blood vessels over time. For a clear understanding of your specific risk profile, it is always best to consult a doctor.

Oh god, I constantly read about this because my dad used to smoke and I get so anxious thinking about stroke symptoms. It definitely increases the risk significantly because of plaque buildup. Please try to get regular checkups done, it really helps ease the anxiety.

Bro, honestly yes, it badly affects your blood pressure and veins. I used to smoke a pack a day and my stamina was zero, plus my BP started shooting up. Left it six months ago and I feel way safer now, you should too.

When my father had high BP, we went to Max Hospital and the specialist there spent 20 minutes explaining how smoking directly thickens the blood and increases stroke risk. Please go to a reputed clinic and ask your doctor to explain the risks to you clearly.

With any metabolic issue like thyroid or high BP, smoking just multiplies the stroke risk. I have thyroid and my doctor made me promise to avoid second-hand smoke even. Get your lipid profile and blood tests done regularly so you know where you stand.

I smoked for 15 years and my doctor warned me about blood clots and stroke risks. What helped me quit was nicotine patches and slowly cutting down day by day. You need to replace the habit with deep breathing or sugar-free gum whenever you get the urge.

People online will tell you a hundred different things or downplay the risk. Please don't rely on random forum replies for serious things like stroke risks. Ask a real cardiologist or physician who can actually test your vitals.

Quitting smoking is incredibly hard and the fear of health issues like stroke only adds to the mental pressure. I went through the same anxiety when I was trying to leave it. Just know that your body starts healing the moment you stop, so keep trying.
