Does sleeping by your phone cause cancer?

My friend told me that keeping your phone next to you while sleeping can be really bad for your health. He said it can even cause cancer because of the radiation. Does sleeping by your phone actually cause cancer?

I totally get it, with so much news online it is so easy to worry about these things. However, there is no solid scientific evidence linking phone radiation to cancer. But for peace of mind and better sleep, keeping it a few feet away on a side table is always a good idea.

I'm always extra careful about lifestyle habits because of my PCOS management, so I looked this up too. While it hasn't been proven to cause cancer, the blue light and late-night scrolling definitely disrupt our hormones and sleep quality. I just put my phone on silent and keep it on the dressing table now.

I used to have terrible anxiety about phone radiation and could not sleep peacefully at night. After researching extensively and talking to doctors, I realized the radiation is non-ionizing and cannot cause cancer. Realizing this really helped me relax, though I still keep the phone away just to avoid late-night notifications.

Honestly, I used to sleep with my phone literally under my pillow! There is no proof it causes cancer, but my sleep quality improved so much once I started keeping it across the room. It also stops me from hitting snooze ten times in the morning.

If sleeping next to phones caused cancer, our entire generation would be in trouble by now! Jokes aside, it doesn't cause cancer, but it surely causes a headache if you keep checking emails at midnight. Keep the screen away and give your eyes some rest.

Science says it won't cause cancer, so don't worry about that. A simple and practical thing to do is just buy a normal alarm clock for your room. That way you can switch off your mobile or keep it in the other room at night without worrying about missing your morning alarm.

Arre don't stress too much about this, buddy! It's just a WhatsApp rumor that has been going around for years. Just put it on DND so your sleep doesn't get disturbed by random texts, and you are good to go.
