Does sleep paralysis happen to everyone?

Last night, I woke up feeling completely paralyzed for a few seconds, it was super scary! My roommate said it's called sleep paralysis and that many people experience it. Does this actually happen to everyone, or is it a sign of something bad?

Listen, it actually doesn't happen to everyone, but it is way more common than you think. I've had it twice and honestly, it is super scary but completely harmless. Just fix your sleep schedule and don't stress too much about it, okay?

I totally get it, experiencing sleep paralysis can feel incredibly terrifying when you don't know what's happening. Many people go their whole lives without ever feeling it, while some of us face it during stressful weeks. Please know you are not alone in this and it usually passes very quickly.

I completely understand how frightening this is because I used to panic and think something was seriously wrong with my brain. But after talking to a doctor, I realized it is just a temporary glitch between sleeping and waking up. It happens to a lot of people when they are sleep-deprived or anxious.

My teenage daughter went through a phase where she had sleep paralysis quite often due to exam stress. We made sure she stopped studying late and kept a fixed sleeping time, and it stopped happening. It is not common for everyone, but simple lifestyle adjustments can really help manage it.

Sabko nahi hota hai, par bahut logo ko life me ek-do baar ho jata hai. Agar aapka sleep cycle kharab hai ya bahut zyada pressure le rahe ho, toh yeh hone ke chances badh jaate hain. Pehle apna sleeping time thik karo aur thoda chill raho.

True, it is definitely not something everyone experiences. Try sleeping on your side instead of your back, as that really reduces the chances of it happening.
