Does sleep help a cold?

I've been feeling under the weather with a cold for the last two days. My mom keeps telling me to just sleep it off, but I have so much work. Does sleeping really help recover faster from a cold, ya phir bas time pass hai?

Yes, sleep helps a lot with a cold. Just wrap yourself in a warm blanket, drink some hot water, and rest as much as you can. You will feel better tomorrow.

I used to run to the clinic for antibiotics at the first sneeze, but then I realized a cold is viral. Now, I just take steam and sleep for 9 hours. It works wonders and is totally normal.

Haan na, sleep is the best medicine for cold and cough. When we sleep, our immune system gets full power to fight the virus. Thoda haldi milk pi lo and sleep nicely.

I have a really bad stuffy nose today and cannot sleep properly. Does sleeping with two pillows help clear the nose? I hope sleeping helps it go away soon.

Yes, absolutely. A cold is a viral infection, and your body needs energy to fight it off. Stop working, take a sick day, and sleep it off. That is the quickest way to recover.
