Does sleep deprivation cause migraines?

I've been getting really bad headaches, almost like migraines, especially on days when I haven't slept much. My friends suggested it might be related. Can lack of sleep actually trigger or cause migraines?

Oh, absolutely. Lack of sleep is my biggest migraine trigger. I usually apply a cold compress on my forehead and drink some ginger tea in a dark room to cope, but sleep is the only real cure.

Bro, yes, sleep loss will definitely trigger that painful headache. Just close your laptop, put your phone on silent, and go sleep. Don't stress too much about pending work, it can wait.

Be careful with migraines. I used to think mine were just from late nights, but they became chronic and didn't stop even after sleeping. Please consult a neurologist to get the right treatment.

Yes, a tired mind always leads to head pain. In our days, we put a drop of warm ghee in the nostrils or drank warm milk before sleeping to soothe the nerves. Take care of your sleep hygiene first.

With my PCOS, my hormones are already a bit unbalanced, and missing sleep immediately triggers a bad migraine for me. I try to stick to a strict sleep routine because even one late night ruins my whole next day.
